Man Batters Wife, Throws Her Out For Rejecting Custody Of Love Child (Pictured)

A housewife, Mrs Sinmiat Omowumi Ogunbanjo, has been battered by her husband, Jimmy Omotalabo Ogunbanjo, after she reportedly rejected custody of a baby delivered by her husband’s mistress in Ogun State, western Nigeria.
The incident happened on Sallah day at their residence, New Site, Ikangba, Imodi road, Ijebu Ode in Ogun State.
Trouble started for Omowumi after her husband, Jimmy, who is a staff of Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Abeokuta, in Ogun State, returned home with a two-year old baby.
P.M.NEWS gathered that her husband lives in Abeokuta where he works while Omowumi who is his legitimate wife lives in Ijebu Ode with their four children and family members.
The 40-year-old Jimmy who had returned to Ijebu Ode for the recent Muslim festival informed Omowumi that he impregnated his mistress in Abeokuta who delivered the baby he came with.
He told her that he picked up the baby from his mistress and brought the child to her to nurse because the mistress could not take proper care of the baby.
Omowumi, who was infuriated after what her husband told her, asked him to return the baby to the mother because she was not ready to nurse or take custody of the baby.
P.M.NEWS learnt that some members of the family including her mother-in law, Ganiyat Ogunbanjo, pleaded with her to take custody of the baby.
She still refused and told Jimmy that since he had other women besides her, he should take the baby to any of them to nurse.
Her response resulted in exchange of words and in the process Jimmy and other members of the family present allegedly battered Omowumi and threw her out of her matrimonial home.
She was seriously injured and had scars on her body.
.
According to her, the police who were supposed to assist her disappointed her also.
P.M.NEWS gathered that when Omowumi went to the police station and reported her predicament and assault, the police told her it was a family matter and sent her away.
Following the development, Omowumi contacted a lawyer, Barrister, Olufemi Ajiboso who petitioned the Ogun State Commissioner of Police and the management of FRSC Ogun State Command, her husband’s employer.
Ajiboso, who confirmed the incident, said what happened to Omowumi was a clear case of inhumanity to man and an assault not only on the victim but women in general.
He said Omowumi informed him that her husband had subjected her to all sorts of ill treatment since he married her and she had been enduring it because of her children.
He said that he had instruction from Omowumi to write the petitions about the criminal conduct against her and to institute a suit for divorce.
Ogunbanjo could not be reached at the time of filing this report as his phone was switched off when our reporter phoned him several times.

8 Things Guys Do That Show Ladies Are In Control Of Their Lives

There is a limit to everything in life most especially when it comes to relationship and marriage because if the function of a man is switched, people will term the lady in his life as a witch.
This is why it is advisable for couples or "couples to be" not to overstep their boundary when displaying love as the gossips, the broken hearted and perhaps those who mean well will term such guy as a slow poke person.
Going straight to the business of the day, let's take a brief look on things guys do that show ladies are in control of their life.
1. Becoming her errand boy/puppet
When men were boys, ladies used me as their puppet by sending me to buy food, fetch water and others. My friends made jest of me, calling me lover boy and reported me to my parents that I am under chioma's spell.
2. Suffering and Smiling Attitude
Some ladies are in the habit of abusing guys for no reason most especially if he is broke or too dumb to express his emotion. If a guy who used to be affluent and jovial becomes broke, ladies will ridicule and ruin his reputation in public as people will believe that his destiny has been nailed on a tree by her.
3. Emptying his account or pocket for her
I hate it when guys in their right senses empty their account for ladies to make Brazilian hair, buy expensive phones and other worthless purposes albeit him begging for N50 recharge card, garri, etc.
5. She eats assorted meals while he drinks water during date
Wonders shall never end as some guys exhibit pretence during date by drinking pure water while the lady he is asking out eats all sort of assorted meals. No doubt if this act continues, people will ask if the guy is mentally sound.
6. Helping her to attain good grade in school while he is on probation
This act is common in school where shallow minded guys act like machos by helping ladies to write test and assignment at the detriment of their success. This is perhaps one of the reasons why ladies are getting good jobs after school meanwhile guys with poor grades are struggling to get common cement lifting jobs.
6. Washing her under wears
I wrote an article few months ago about a friend of mine who washed a lady's underwears during NYSC program as she used, duped and dumped the mumu guy for another guy few months after the end of the program. I pity the life of some guys who believe that this act is out of love because apart from the fact that his image will be tarnished, those around will see him as a retaarded individual.
7. Loosing her hair regularly
Some guys are fun of this act which on regular occasion will attract insult from the society as people will advice such guys to visit MFM for deliverance.
8. Neglecting football match in order to satisfy her regularly
I have seen a die-hard football fan who became a "hommie" during live matches because his girlfriend told him to choose between football and her. What amuses me is that this guy always satisfy her in terms of attention, care, money, etc but when a match is about to commence, this is when she starts nagging about him not respecting her feelings.

10 Things Only Women With Big B00bs Can Understand

If you’ve got C-cup or larger-sized bréasts, chances that it feels like you permanently have a toddler attached to your body, and like most demanding children, they dominate your whole life.
Top 10 Big Bóob Problems:
1. Under-bóob sweat
2. Your brás being mistaken for áss-holders and/or hats
3. Budgeting to afford a brá that actually fits
4. Finding the right specialty brá shop with a correctly-trained fitter you actually trust, or at the very least, just finding a store that actually carries your size
5. Packing a larger suitcase just to fit your brás into
6. Figuring out ways to get your insurance to pay for a bréast reduction
7. Demi-cup overspill
8. Shopping for clothes based on whether or not you can wear a brá with them
9. Wondering if a guy is actually looking at you or only interested in your chest
10. How not to look crazy while holding your boóbs to avoid black eyes during a run
Growing Up With Big Boóbs
Oh yeah, you can fill out a sweater like it’s nobody’s business, and you certainly get male eyes on you, but with your giant ta-tas comes a life of watching your boóbs pop out of brás, shirts and dresses like they’re rampaging bulls on the streets of Pamplona.
And if you think bréasts don’t have a mind of their own, well, honey, we really have to beg to differ. Remember when you were 12 and growing mosquito bites for the first time and were so absurdly proud of yourself?
While guys were having shin splints from growing too tall, too fast, the big-títty-committeé éxploded stretch marks over bean-bag boóbs that hurt if you even looked at them.
I went from a training brá to a C-cup at the age of 12 and a D by my 13th birthday. It’s no wonder I was mistaken for an 18-year-old, since no one was bothering to look at my face.
Fast forward through middle school and high school, where many of the less-endowed girls were all glaring daggers at you, and often not-so-quietly calling you slutty and dumb behind your back.
It often seemed everyone else was using complex algorithms dictating that the bigger our cup size, the more likely we were to spread our legs, and the lower our intelligence must be.
Meanwhile, while others were busying judging us, we were left trying to figure out how to find prom dresses that didn’t make us look like pórn stars, b*tton-downs that didn’t póp b*ttóns so fast they take an eye out and attempting to get guys to look above our chin when they talked to us.
As girls with huge bóobs, we are often told by friends and family to “Stop complaining. I only wish I had bóobs like yours.” Jokes aside, there are a lot of drawbacks.
Amidst the obvious clothing issues and drooling stares, there is also back pain, posture issues, hindrancés when it comes to running and working out and postpartum inflation/stretching that we’ve heard only makes the situation worse.
Feeling séxy with boóbs so heavy they really don’t look great without a brá is a feat. I know what you’re thinking — all men love boóbs, right? Well, maybe.
But with a naturally large chest, it can be hard to feel good nakéd, since your comfort in cléavage is strippéd away when the brá comes off. Celebrities and pórn stars post-plastic surgery have created the illusion that big boóbs are perfectly round and stand up on their own.
Wearing a backless dress is not a problem, because gravity doesn’t exist and nipplés are perfectly even. Not true. Even at a young age, the giant girls sag from the sheer weight and flip-flop about in pretty much the least séxy way possible.
Not a great visual, right? We can only fear for how Left and Right will look 20 years from now.
So, the next time you think us ladies who have been blessed (or cursed) with G-cup bréasts need to realize how lucky we are, remember that we are just as insecure with ourselves as women who only need a camisole.
We carry our own (very heavy) insecurities every day, too. Like everyone else, we learn how to cope with our own body image issues.
You either hide behind giant clothing and pretend your bréasts aren’t the first thing anyone sees, or you learn to break the ice, make the first joke and just acknowledge the elephant(s) in the room. Because if you don’t, someone else will.

3 Mistakes That Will Ruin Your Marriage QUICKLY

Mistakes are only natural in a marriage. There is no such thing as perfection. But there are certain mistakes where once it’s done there’s no undo b*tton. The best option is to work toward a better outcome. If there is no attempt in rectifying the mistakes, the marriage will begin to suffer.
Many of us commit the same mistake over and over for reasons only we know. But what we fail to see is when we commit the same mistakes, we are hurting our spouses and children.
If you find yourself committing the following mistakes, take a step back and consider how your mistakes are possibly setting a negative tone in your marriage, and with your children.
1. Lie
“I’m only saying a white lie. He’ll never find out.” That statement is not necessarily true. There are circumstances in which you tell your spouse a white lie after you rationalize why it’s acceptable and get away with it. Oftentimes, the truth will prevail. And when it does, your spouse will feel deceived and believe you have lied about other things throughout the marriage. You create space for doubt. Also, depending on the age, children will pick up on what is going on in their parents’ lives. They can see and sense uncertainties and concerns. They will pick up on that negative behavior and believe lying is the proper way to handle problems.
2. Assume
Do not assume one spouse is responsible for everything. Once you are in a marriage (and have children), both parties should share responsibilities. In some instances, one spouse handles a little more of his share than the other, but it’s up to the couple’s discretion. Nevertheless, one spouse expected to do it all is not reasonable. If that is the case, why be married?
For example, if you have children, both parents must be involved in their lives. Join them in their activities, help them with homework and be there as a friend. If one parent assumes the other parent can take care of their children’s needs, they are affecting their own relationship with their children. Children will not feel comfortable approaching the parent who is unavailable most of the time. Remember, the household is not that of a single parent.
3. Disrespect
It’s common for couples to get on each other’s nerves. They bump heads a lot. However, the key is to never lose respect for one another. Once the insults begin, there is no going back. Do not throw the past in your spouse’s face. Do not take each other for granted. If you are in doubt about something, do not look through each other’s personal belongings seeking for answers. I was guilty of that. When I experienced it, I felt invaded. If you have doubts, don’t be intimidated to discuss your concerns with your spouse. Respect each other’s space, opinions and beliefs.
Again, mistakes are normal. If we do not commit them, how are we supposed to learn and grow as a couple? However, the lesson to learn is once you make the mistake, you are not to make it, again. In a marriage, there is no room for making the same mistake twice.

10 Things You MUST Know Before Dating An Impatient Person

By all means, move at a glacial pace. You know how that thrills me.
It’s hard being an impatient person in today’s world; it should’ve gotten easier with all the technological advancements. Everything has become about instant gratification, which should make this an impatient person’s paradise.
Surprisingly, the opposite has happened. Since people have become so used to everything being instant, they’ve never developed a sense of how important time is. Even when people have to wait around, there are so many distractions that they barely feel the passage of time.
For impatient people, all they feel is the passage of time. It doesn’t matter how many distractions there are — nothing can make the wait better.
Impatient people just want to get to the main event. They can only scroll through Facebook for so long before they lose their minds. If you’re not impatient, you probably don’t understand. That’s why you should read this. Here are 10 things you must know before dating an impatient person.
1. The point never comes fast enough for them. Whenever someone has something to say, they spend too much time focusing on the details. Tell them the end of the story first, and then they’ll decide if it’s worth hearing the rest.
2. When they get bored from waiting (which is always), their mind starts to wander. They lose focus. They stop paying attention and then suddenly realize that they’ve been sticking their tongue out for ten straight minutes.
3. They’re always fidgeting with something. Unfortunately, nothing makes time pass faster. They know this, but they keep trying to make it happen anyway. They can’t make anything interesting; all they can do is barely distract themselves from their own discomfort.
4. They always look like they’re about to snap. The more they have to wait for something, the more upsetting it becomes. They also always feel like they’re waiting for something, and how upset they are is completely visible in their facial expression. Everyone just assumes that they’re some kind of maniac.
5. They constantly feel like nothing is happening. Everyone is just shuffling along, and so are they. They have to numb themselves to keep from flipping out, and start to feel mindless.
6. Distractions never work. They think, I know what I’ll do while I wait: I’ll watch some TV! Oh wait, that doesn’t take their mind off of HOW LONG THIS IS TAKING! COME ON ALREADY!
7. No one understands just how uncomfortable they really are. People say “just be patient” like it’s some sort of choice. No one chooses to be impatient. What kind of maniac would do that?!
8. They can only take so much. Everyone has a breaking point. The problem is no one ever realizes how close they are to their breaking point. They think that because they themselves can handle the wait, so can the impatient person. They don’t understand that their fuse is WAY shorter.
9. Late people INFURIATE them. We all have those friends that are always late. The thing is, they’re never just late; they always claim to have some reason for being late. They always make impatient people wait around for them.
10. All they can do is wait out the frustration. There’s no cure for impatience; they just have to live with it for their entire lives. Their long, seemingly endless life full of waiting for people to just HURRY THE EFF UP.

8 Questions To Ask Yourself Before Commenting Online, So Special

Ah, the comments section.
It’s where the Internet — in all its terrible glory — weighs in on the hottest issues of the day. And after you read a particularly incendiary article, you too may be tempted to weigh in.
Not so fast, champ.
Before you leave your magnum opus in that comment field, take a deep breath and ask yourself these questions. With a little introspection, you may be able to avoid an ugly feud or a lot of embarrassment
1. Does this comment represent me well?
Your comments show the Internet what kind of person you are. Make sure it’s a good one, not a terrible garbage one.
2. Would I want my #1 role model, most likely NaijaIdols, to read this comment?
Whether your role model of choice is your mother, your college Biology professor or Naijaidols, make sure your Internet comment is something your idol would be proud to read.
3. Am I reading a satirical article?
Does the article seem too crazy to be true? That could be because, uh … it’s not.
4. Is my comment offensive?
If your comment contains slurs or relies on stereotypes, reconsider posting. Some jokes aren’t worth hurting others or perpetuating harmful structures — no matter how hilarious you think they are.
5. Did a loved one — perhaps my son — write this article?
It doesn’t matter how much you disagree with the article’s content — if your own estranged child wrote it, you should address your qualms in person.
6. Has someone already expressed my opinion using similar words?
If another user has already made your comment, you should be excited. It means you don’t have to write anything. Just upvote and nod, pal.
7. Will I act chill if people disagree with me?
You know the old popular saying: If you can’t take the Internet, get out of that Internet.
8. Did I actually read the article?
Did you forget to read the article again? Oh, you!

5 tips on how to Date More Than One Guy at a Time (for Women)

If you want to get to know more than one guy at a time, and you're not in an exclusive relationship, that's your choice to make! If you don't want the guys you're dating to know, this article will offer some tips. But in order to avoid painful misunderstandings (like a guy you end up wanting to be with feeling betrayed when he finds out you had dated other people while you dated him) here's some additional advice on how to exercise tact.
Ad
Method One of Two:
Honest Strategy
1
Be open and honestabout what you're doing. If you feel there is nothing wrong with dating more than one person at a time, there's no reason to hide it. It's good to bring it up, though, because people have different perspectives on dating. Some guys might think it's only okay to date one person at a time (even if you haven't committed to being in an exclusive relationship yet) and may assume you feel the same way.
2
Tell a storythat reveals you date more than one guy at a time.Example: "One time I was on a date with a guy, we'd been seeing each other for about a month, and we bumped into another guy I'd gone on a date with a week earlier, and that was really awkward. One of them got really mad at me, because I guess he thought I was dating only him, but how was I supposed to know we were exclusive?" How does your date respond? If he disagrees with you, or acts horrified, then you'll know he's not okay with being one among many dates.
3
Note that guys have different ideas about what makes a relationship exclusive.Ideally, a guy will ask you if he can be your one and only, and that can be the official day you become a couple, but in adult life, things don't always work out that way. So if you're not sure if he thinks you're exclusive, ask him: "When you're dating someone, how do you know when you've made the jump from just dating, to being in an exclusive relationship?"
4
Think about how far you want to go with one guy before you decide to date him exclusively. Some women consider it fair game to date as many men as they want, as long as they're all first dates, but when they decide they like a guy enough to go on a second date, they stop seeing other people so they can focus on that one guy. For other women, the third or fifth date could be where they draw the line. Some women also have rules around how physically intimate they are with someone (e.g. kiss as many guys as you want, but once you start having sex with a guy, have sex only with that guy).
5
Make your opinions known. In the age of Internet profiles, this is pretty easy. If you and your date know each other online, write a sentence on your dating profile like "I'm okay with a guy going on dates with other women while going on dates with me, but when things get sexual, I think they should be exclusive, and I offer the same consideration in return." You can also post a blog (on MySpace, Facebook, or anywhere that you know a person you're dating will read it) that expresses your views on this topic. But, the most foolproof way to get your opinion across is to say it.

Differentiate Between Love and Friendship

You've been close friends with a member of your preferred gender(s) for a while, and it has never been a problem. Until now. Suddenly, you're starting to doubt your feelings or to feel something new, and you can't help but ask yourself: is it love or friendship? Maybe other people have hinted that you and your friend are really in love. Maybe you've started to suspect that something is up when you got all jealous about yourfriend'snew girlfriend. Whatever your reason for coming here, it's time to dig deep and figure out how you and your friend really feel about each other.

Part One of Three:
Analyzing What You Feel
1
If you're just friends, then you feel genuinely happy if your friend is dating someone. This one is a dead giveaway. When your "friend" tells you he's met someone new, and that this person may bethe one,or just that this person is so amazing that you just have to drop everything and meet her, what is your first response? If you're truly happy for your friend and can't wait to meet the special person in his life, then you may be just friends.
*.Do your friend's significant others always like you a lot? If so, then this may also mean you're just friends. If they like you, then they don't see you as a threat.
2
If you're in love, then you find a reason toneverbe happy with your friend's significant other.Have you found that every significant other your friend has ever introduced to you has been too stupid, ugly, cocky, annoying, frivolous, or just plain not good enough for him? Do you find yourself fighting feelings of jealously, even if your friend clearly doesn't like that new person so much? If so, then you may be falling in love. Of course you don't think anyone is good enough for your friend--except you, that is.
*.Think about it: does your friend just have a track record for dating horrible people? Or is it something more?
3
If you're just friends, then you feel 100% comfortable around your friend at all times. This is a sign of a true friend. Someone you can hang out with when you're recovering from a cold and sound like an asthmatic old man. Someone you can see without makeup--or without showering. A person you can burp or even fart in front of without apologizing. This may sound slightly gross, but it's true. Do you feel like this around your friend? If so, then you may be just friends.
*.Of course, when you find true love, you may eventually feel 100% comfortable around that person, too. But the courtship phase will most likely be filled with nervousness and uncertainty.
4
If you're in love, then your friend may make you feel a little nervous. If you're starting to really like your friend, then you may suddenly find yourself stuttering in the middle of normal conversation, or feeling like you swallowed a rock when you see your friend from across the room. This is perfectly normal. If you find yourself doubting what to say, wondering if you look stupid, or just feeling jittery and not completely like yourself, then it means that you may not be completely comfortable with your friend anymore...because you're falling in love.
*.If you find yourself suddenly caring how you looked or "came off' in front of your friend, then you may really be falling in love.
5
If you're just friends, then you can go a few days without talking and you don't care.If you're just friends and you both fall off the radar for a few days, then it shouldn't keep you up at night. If you're not wondering what your friend is up to, wishing he was there, or worrying about whether or not he's safe, then you're probably friends. Friends, even good friends, can be out of touch for a few days or even a few weeks without worryingtoo muchabout what's going on, unless they're used to hanging out every single day.
*.This doesn't mean that you may not be a little hurt if you completely don't hear from your friend when you're used to talking a lot. But you shouldn't carethatmuch.

I Will Be Petroluem Minister-Buhari

As the nation awaits President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list, the President on Tuesday said he would head the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
Buhari dropped the hint in one of the interviews he granted one of the foreign media in his hotel shortly before departing New York.
The President was in New York to participate in the 70th United Nations General Assembly.
“I will serve as the Minister of Petroleum Resources myself,” Buhari told his interviewer.
The nation’s petroleum sector has been said to be enmeshed in corruption with millions of dollars said to be missing in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
Shortly after assuming office, Buhari sacked and replaced the management of the company.
The new management had started a general reorganisation of the firm.
Buhari had on Monday said the trial of those who looted the NNPC would commence soon.
Meanwhile, ministerial list that President Muhammadu Buhari will submit to the Senate on Wednesday (today)will not contain all the members of his proposed cabinet, THE PUNCH has learnt.
Buhari was inaugurated on May 29, having defeated former President Goodluck Jonathan in the presidential election held in March.
Investigation by one of our correspondents on Tuesday revealed that what would be transmitted to the Senate this week would not be a complete list of nominees.
A top government official familiar with the arrangement confided in one of our correspondents that Buhari would send the names of the nominees to the Senate in batches.
“What the Senate will be getting on Tuesday or Wednesday will not be a complete list. The names will be sent in batches but quite a number will be on this first list while others will be compiled and sent later,” the source said.
The President may have decided to send the names in batches in order to meet the September deadline he set for himself rather than waiting to compile the full list and fail to beat the deadline.
Efforts made by one of our correspondents to get an insight into the list of the first batch of would-be ministers did not however yield any positive result on Tuesday.
The issue of the list has however been generating concerns among members of Buhari’s delegation to the 70th United Nations General Assembly holding in New York.
Many of the politicians on the President’s delegation who felt they might be considered for ministerial positions were getting in touch with Nigeria intermittently on the telephone for latest information on the list while they also kept making themselves visible for Buhari.
Some of them who could not hide their anxiety were heard asking Nigerian journalists if they had latest information on the list.
Prominent chiefs of the All Progressives Congress on the President’s delegation include a former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi; a former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; and a former member of the House of Representatives, Abike Dabiri-Erewa among others.
Meanwhile, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, said on Tuesday that his leadership would not employ vendetta in the screening of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s wise men.
Saraki, who stated this in his welcome address to his colleagues at a plenary after their six-week recess, expressed confidence that Nigeria’s economy would experience a turn-around with the appointment of ministers.
He said, “As we await the list of ministerial nominees this week, I believe the presence of ministers will create the space for greater policy engagement with the executive arm of government.
“It will also enable us to begin to respond in a more systematic manner to the various economic and social challenges before us, especially through our various committees that will also be constituted soon.
“On this note, I want to urge you all my colleagues to ensure that what is uppermost in our minds as we begin the constitutional task of screening of ministerial nominees is the overall interest of our country, informed by the enormity and the urgency of the challenges before us.
“Once the list is submitted, let us ensure that we treat it with dispatch and thoroughness. We must not be held down by unnecessary politicking.”

How To Keep Your Jobs In A Difficult Economy

It’s usually very difficult for both employers and employees to keep their jobs and fly higher in a difficult economy. Such is the situation of things right now with some entrepreneurs ENCOMIUM Weekly spoke to. However, they all highlighted some ways of dealing with the situation.
ORAKA NVY
Sulcata Entertainment
Employees need to be able to multi task. Learn to do more than your primary duty. Be able to do A, B, C and D, not just A. Aside that, employees should be diligent, be on top of their game. During downsizing of staff, employers will most likely set aside those that are less productive as against those that can multi task because with them there’s more value for money.
On the part of the employer, he should learn to guide his staff. Most employees are scared of going away from their brief or primary job description, not because they can’t but the fear of being scolded for doing what they were not assigned to. Employers should learn to be appreciative of their staff. Also, conduct training to improve the skills.
BUKOLA LAWAL
Tooshme Studio
Staff members need to be willing to work for the progress of the company. For Tooshme Studio, our staffers must be willing to work with me to ensure we satisfy every single client that walks into our studio. We are into beauty business, we must avoid mistakes, so our clients are happy to patronise us.
The criteria for Tooshme Studio to keep a staff is that he/she must be willing to understand our clientele and willing to learn to satisfy their needs.
TOYIN KOLADE
Fisolak Global Resources Ltd.
As an entrepreneur, I always do everything possible within my capacity to keep my business flying irrespective of the poor economic situation of the country. Things are generally tight at the moment but I believe it’s just for a while. It’s just a kind of sacrifice we all need to pay for the betterment of our dear fatherland. I do things according to the dictates of the economy.
And the kind of advice I always give my workers is that which resolves around honesty, hard work, loyalty and dedication to work irrespective of the prevailing circumstance with the belief that things will be back to normal again very soon.
YINKA QUADRI
We’re in a difficult time as far as Nigeria economy is concerned, no doubt about that. But all I think we all need to do as Nigerians is cut our coat according to our cloth. As an employer, I don’t go beyond my limit. I don’t promise my workers what I can’t afford. And I am trying to be more creative as an entertainer to remain relevant in the industry. Equally, I always advise my staffers to go beyond the call of duty by constantly coming up with initiatives that will drive their jobs higher. We have all become brothers. So, it’s very difficult to fire any of them but they should also sit-up.
AYO BALOGUN
We’re in a tough economy as you rightly said, but everything doesn’t end at that. The kind of challenge we’re going through now is the one that will enable us rededicate ourselves to our various jobs.
As an employer, I need to be more creative in my field to keep my job. And for the employees, they also need to be more creative in their respective areas. They should be ready to go the extra mile to retain their job. They should double their loyalty and work towards salvaging the situation together. They should always be ready to do the right thing at the right time.
BIOLA ADEBAJO
Staffers need to more than ever show their support and commitment in every way, to their employers, and that goes a long way to encourage the employers even in hard times, and thus keep the employees in employment. It’s simple. I maintain a very cordial relationship with my staffers, such that they feel a lot like family already.

24 Year Old Nigerian Builds A Functional And Intelligent Robot In Sri Lanka

A twenty-four year old Nigerian, Bobai Ephraim Kato, has built a fully functional artificial intelligence robot for his final year project at the International College of Business and Technology (ICBT) in Sri Lanka.
After his secondary school education in Nigeria in 2009, he wrote JAMB exams twice trying to get an admission into Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria to study medicine, but all to no avail. He couldn’t get into the remedial school at ABU, and Kaduna State University (KASU) did not accept him either. It was not until he started a program at KASU’s remedial school that opportunity presented itself through the NIIT (National Institute of Information Technology) scholarship exam. Kato’s success story took shape over the next four years as he eventually ended up in Sri Lanka and studied Software Engineering.
Kato admits that the idea of artificial intelligence was random. The knowledge he gained from previous classes on Artificial Intelligence Systems set the pace for his work with the robot. His first work with Artificial Intelligence was “Wine Quality Test”, a piece of software which uses artificial intelligence to determine the quality of wine. When the directive came to his class to create software that uses Artificial Intelligence for predictions and solutions, he couldn’t think of anything. It was not until he did some research that the idea of a robot, which could solve puzzles struck him.
A Nigerian Software Engineering student, Kato personally built and developed the algorithm that enabled the robot to solve a Rubik’s Cube in a matter of minutes – a feat he admits to have never achieved himself.
Kato, who hails from the Atyap tribe in Karina said, “ My first 5 tests were a failure. The robot always shot a scanning error, and this was a week to my final submission. All I could do was pray. I didn’t know what to do again. I was confused and restless. I kept grinding and it finally started working. At that stage, the robot wasn’t intelligent enough and I had to train it to solve many puzzles to get more skills to save in the database.”
Kato spent two nights building the robot. After construction, he installed the software which served as the brain into a memory card for testing. A week to Kato’s final submission, the robot was still not functional. It took six tries to get the robot to work, and then a few days to increase its intelligence quotient. It was hard work for Kato, as he could not solve the Rubik’s Cube himself.
In the spirit of giving back, his new focus is on forensic computing, cyber security, and digital investigation, which he hopes to put to full use when he goes back to Nigeria.
“I’m happy to return back to Nigeria as a Cyber Security and Digital forensic Tech,” he says. “If anything, that’s what Nigeria needs more. We need people who are savvy and sincere in Digital Investigation, Cyber Security and Forensic

Plane Crashes Caused By Pilot Error & Some Facts About Flying (Graphic Photos

Statistically speaking, flying is still the safest way to travel. In fact, the National Center for Health Statistics estimates the average person’s odds of dying in a plane crash at 1 in 20,000. Compare that to the odds of being struck by lightning (1 in 3,000) or dying in a car accident (1 in 100). Commercial airplanes are highly regulated in most countries, and must pass extensive testing before being approved for flight. Advancements in technology have outfitted modern planes with highly effective safety features that prevent catastrophic failures mid-flight. But no matter how fit the vessel, or how advanced the technology, there is one element that is impossible to control: the human element. People, even highly trained professionals, will make mistakes. Though major pilot error happens rarely, the results canbe truly devastating.

Two minutes after takeoff, one of TransAsia 235’s engines suffered a type of failure known as a flameout. Ordinarily this would not lead to a crash, as modern airplanes are designed to run on one engine if necessary. Unfortunately, the pilot mistook the functioning engine for the malfunctioning one and shut it off. This left the plane powerless as the crew desperately scrambled to restart the engine and avoid the heavily populated cityscape below. One of the wings clipped a bridge and the plane crashed into a nearby river. Dashcam footage reveals just how close it came to wiping out the bridge out entirel

“Of course, he is still my husband, according to Igbo tradition. Since he is an elder in my husband’s family, he is still my husband. But he is not the one doing the job (laughter)” of course its Mr Tony Edochie my husband that is doing the job.
Now, another misconception laid to rest for good!
