Stop Attacking Buhari Over Appointments, Let Him Do His Job – PDP Chieftain

A former governor of old Bendel State and a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Dr Samuel Ogbemudia, has replied those attacking President Muhammadu Buhari over his recent appointments.
The elder statesman explained that the president needed time to settle for the best people who can work for the country.
He added that Nigerians would not forgive him if he failed.
He also described as unnecessary, attempts by some Nigerians to assess the administration in just 100 days in office.
He said, “When they knew that the man said he met everything in bad shape and in such situation you need to clean up the system so as to start on a good note.”
The PDP chieftain made this remark when he met members of the committee he set up to oversee the yearly Award of the Best Journalist in Edo State, led by a former General Manager of the Edo State Broadcasting Service (EBS), Pastor (Mrs) Sidi Lawal-Igioh.
“Nigerians asked him (Buhari) to appoint people, who can work with him and he can only appoint people he knows. If he fails by appointing a United Nation they will say it was his fault, they ought to have known. But he is now picking people he has tremendous trust in their ability.
“So, those criticizing him should let him do his work. If at the end of four years he did not perform, then Nigerians have another opportunity to either say carry on or stop.
“All these criticisms, I do not buy them. And the people who are criticising him probably they have never held any government position, they don’t know what is happening there, that all that glitters is not gold.”
Commenting on 100 days in office, Dr Ogbemudia said “first and foremost, Buhari was elected for four years and in the programme of events which led to the elections, at no time was hundred days mentioned.
“That they are being done in the past was perhaps a persuasive authority but that does not mean that everybody should keep to it. A programme well thought out to bring Nigeria back to the line of development, the line of security and so on, planning alone takes more than a hundred days.
“So, I expect that when eventually he finished the home work he will come out with something big. When he was elected, Nigerians have very high expectation of his performance and in order not to disappoint Nigerians, he wants to take time to plan his programme so that when eventually he pushes it out they will welcome it.
“So, they can excuse him because the Buhari they knew earlier on is no longer the same Buhari because this is a democracy. He has the National Assembly and the judicial arm now. His powers then is being shared with these two arms now.
“He cannot join the bandwagon, as a matter of fact that is why he wants to change the evil ways things are done before so that Nigeria will be better” he stated.

10 Benefits of Being Ugly As A Lady

I have seen many articles on the merits attached to being a beautiful and an adorable lady, so I decide to come up with this counter thread.
To a broad view, beauty and ugliness have its good and derogatory sides, and I trust that many of us must have read so many write-ups about the favour, undisputed attention and preferential treatments beautiful ladies often receive.
As a general rule, they say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder but let’s not deceive ourselves; the eyes of the beholder or not, it does not change the fact that some ladies are below the beauty level. (Can a dwarf be regarded as a tall person?)
Note:This is not a generalization of ugly ladies, but an average sizable number of them.
Lemme keep the ball rolling 8)
10 Benefits of Being Ugly As A Lady
1. Higher Chances Of Virginity Retention Till Marriage
This may be true but not so true. Though ugliness is not a determinant of a keeping one’s virginity or abstain from s*x, but to a minimum extent, when a lady is extraordinary ugly, she’s most like not to be the chase of kitty-cat obsessed guys flooding every street, hence, making her lack the opportunity of getting laid
2. Less Promiscuous
When a lady is very ugly/not pretty, there’s high probability that she will have few number of toasters stalking her both online and offline, and this might make her stay focused in her academics and other things, unlike beautiful ladies on campuses who are being swayed and distracted by the chases from their fellow students or lecturers, hence, making them lose focus in their academic pursuit.
3. High Chances of Finding True Love
This is to say that any guy that asks her for a relationship see beyond the mere look of a lady, and he’s likely to love her against all odds even though his friends castigate him saying “so na that sukurat wey no even fine u dey date now?, you fall our hand ooo” This reminds me of the way Makinde rebuked me when I asked a lady with a terrible tribal mark on her face on a date
4. She May Not Have Trust Issues In Her Relationship
Since her boyfriend knows deep down in his mind that his girlfriend is not in any way pretty, he might be in Abuja while she’s in Zamfara, he need not worry about someone else bleeping his girlfriend. 😀
5. Well Cultured/Behaved
Yoruba adage says, “if a lady is not pretty, at least she should be well cultured/behaved so that people can see beyond her looks. From this adage, we can deduce that, to a large extent, ugly ladies are somewhat well cultured/behaved (though not all), unlike pretty ladies who are stereotyped to be pompous and proud
6. Little Or No Gold Digging Habit
My research and findings have shown that not so pretty ladies barely gold-dig guys, because the chances is very slim. Many at times, money is not their criteria for choosing a guy
7. Financial Benefits
A beautiful girl financial approach is more likely to be turned down unlike that of an ugly girl. The suffering is already hidden behind the beauty, but even if an ugly girl is financially stable and she tells you the opposite, you’d believe cos the look itself is already poor
8. Less Spending
An ugly girl is less concerned about her looks/body, unlike like beautiful girls, who are always conscious about their faces, skin colour, etc. Some ugly girls even save more that beautiful girls. They’ve got plans of doing other things with money rather than spending it on their looks and perishable parameters. A beautiful girl can even go hungry just to keep the beauty going
9. Public Stare
An ugly is free from public stare cos no one would wanna keep staring at an unpleasant front and back side. They move freely, unlike the beautiful ones who are always scared of going out cos of the stare/public harassment. Reminds me of a beautiful girl in high heels shoe. The public stare was unbearable for her, she mistook a step, and fell flat to the ground. What an embarrasement! At such, ugly girls gat no worries. They are free to do the ”Naomi Campbell” walk without people staring
10. Feel free to add the last one
I drop my pen at this point
Oyah keep throwing chairs and stones
Runs out !!
Have fun

Cleaner caught with N53m at Lagos airport

An airport cleaner has been arrested after he was caught with the sum of $271,135 (about N53m) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The airport worker, named Mr. Tijani Owolabi, works with one of the cleaning contractors at the airport.
It was revealed that some of the foreign currency was found on Owolabi while the rest was recovered from the sanitary bucket he was holding while trying to pass through screening machine.

“The sum was found on a worker with one of the cleaning contractors at the airport, Mr. Tijani Owolabi, during a pat down at one of the screening points at ‘D’ Finger of the international terminal.

Nigerian conman who defrauded pensioners of over £1m weeps as he is jailed(Photos)

A conman who funded a playboy lifestyle by cheating pensioners out of their life savings broke down in tears after being jailed for seven years.
Godwin Nwaofor, 36, kept a ‘suckers list’ of potential victims to send bogus letters saying they had won the Australian Lottery.
The Nigerian national received around £1million from the scam and blew the money on luxury cars, gold jewellery and expensive champagne at top nightclubs in London.
Nwaofor was a ‘willing and enthusiastic lieutenant’ to the mastermind of the con, another Nigerian, Frank Onyechonam, who was nicknamed ‘Fizzy’ for his love of vintage champagne.Onyeachonam was jailed eight years last year, after he was exposed as the chief player in the scam.
He drove a Maserati and fired bubbly corks across exclusive private members clubs as he lived a life of fantastic luxury on his victim’s life savings.
The scam started with a bogus letter to a vulnerable pensioner telling them they had won the Australian Lottery. The letters were sent by a ‘lottery agent’ targeting mainly American pensioners informing them they had won a life-changing prize and requesting a modest sum to release the funds.
Believing they had won, victims were hooked into paying fees to release their ‘winnings’ through an agent who would demand ‘activation fees’ to release their cash.
In some cases, dupes set up businesses in an attempt to receive their winnings and became unwitting money mules laundering cash from other victims.

Nigerian Army reinstates 3,032 soldiers fired for indisipline

3,032 dismissed soldiers were reinstated yesterday, after being convicted by military courts for various offences. In all, 5,000 were convicted, but only the 3,032 were lucky.
Army Public Relations Acting Director Col. Sani Usman, revealed this at a briefing in Abuja. He noted that, some of the convicted soldiers had their sentences upheld by the committee.
According to him, only soldiers with disciplinary cases have been reinstated as those with criminal cases were not even considered by the committee.
Col. Usman added that in some cases, the screening committee even made an upward review of years of imprisonment given to some of the convicted soldiers by the military courts. He said
“You would recall that the Nigerian Army sometime ago instituted a committee to review the recent disciplinary cases in the service, especially of those soldiers in the defunct ‘Operation Zaman Lafiya’,
“The committee has concluded its initial sitting and has made certain recommendation that led to the reinstatement of 3, 0 32 soldiers out of 5,000 cases reviewed so far.
“The cases reviewed were only disciplinary as no criminal cases were considered, the review is ongoing but the bulk of the work has been done for the time being,’’ he said.
The director said the reinstated soldiers have since commenced re-training at a military facility in Niger preparatory for their eventual redeployment to the operational bases.
The Army spokesman, however, said the cases of 66 soldiers who bagged the death sentence were not reviewed by the committee since their lawyers had appealed the verdict and the process was on.

Cultists bury motorist alive in Lagos(Photo)

A war is brewing in the Mushin area of Lagos State after some suspected cultists dragged a motorist out of a commercial bus and buried him alive.
PUNCH Metrolearnt that the yet-to-be-identified victim was on his way to the Oyingbo area of the state. He was said to have been dragged out of the bus at the Total bus stop in the Mushin end of the Ikorodu Road.
A witness, Jacob Amos, said the incident happened around 8pm on Wednesday, adding that policemen from the Alakara Police Division were alerted.
He said,
“The man was in the bus when he was dragged out at Total bus stop. They brought him into Mushin and I immediately alerted the policemen from Alakara.
“The police went to Adewusi Street, and searched the place for more than one hour, but they did not find anything. They patrolled the place and when they did not see anything, they left.
“Around 10pm when everybody had gone home, they brought the man to the Railway Line and push him from head down into a filled canal. Only his leg was sticking out.”
The victim was said to have died soon afterwards. Our correspondent learnt that policemen from Alakara later arrived on Thursday to remove the corpse.
A witness, who did not identify himself, said the police ordered him to pull out the corpse from the murky water.
Friends of the deceased from Market Street, Oyingbo, were said to have shown up to identify him.
A resident lamented that the police in the area, were not doing enough to arrest the unrest in Mushin, lamenting that there were saboteurs in the force.
He said it was the second time in a week that people from the Oyingbo area would be hounded and killed in Mushin, which could start a war between the two communities.
He said,
“The police in this area have been compromised. When we called them yesterday that someone had been captured around Oyewusi Street, an informant of the cultists whom we suspect work with the police, quickly alerted the guys and they left the place.
“They brought the victim to our side to make it look as if we are responsible for his death. Their plan is to set the Oyingbo boys against us and trigger a war.”
Residents of the area alleged that the increased killing of suspected cult members from Oyingbo was orchestrated by one Rilwan, akaItakun.
Other men said to be in the group areWhite, Ese Chicago, Ina, AnarchyandRiliwanu.
The source said Itakun had his family house in Oyingbo and left the area due to persecution by some suspected cultists.
He said, “After he left, he started living in Mushin with a gang member. Later, he decided to start paying back those he perceived as the leaders of the gang in Oyingbo.
“Last week, he invited one TundeEletoto Mushin and the man was stabbed and shot dead by his squad,” he added.
However, another resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, denied that anyone was killed in the community.
He said, “There is nothing like that. Nobody was killed on the Railway Line or anywhere for that matter.”

Housemaid stabs boyfriend, says he deserved to die

A housemaid, Blessing Edeh, has stabbed her boyfriend, Edet Ebong, to death in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
The 24-year-old Uyo, Akwa Ibom State indigene, said Ebong died because he was jealous and suspicious of her, adding that she felt no remorse since it was “a case of two fighting”.
PUNCH Metrolearnt that Edeh and Ebong had been dating for one year and six months.
The 33-year-old truck driver was said to have moved into his girlfriend’s apartment on Falana Street, Ogombo, Lekki, after they both agreed to marry.
However, on the fateful day, Ebong was said to have returned from work late in the night and told his lover to prepare food for him.
The suspect allegedly abused him, leading to a scuffle between them.
In the ensuing brawl, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the stomach. He died in a hospital in the area.
The matter was reported at the Ogombo Police Division and was subsequently transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba.
Edeh told PUNCH Metrothat she killed Ebong, saying the victim was drunk on the night of the incident.
She said, “On the fateful day, August 18, he came back from work and was drunk. He said I was messing around and sleeping with other men. He demanded the ring that he gave me, and I told him I could not find it. I later told him it was on the table and he should go and pick it.
“He became angry and broke the mirror on the wall and we started fighting. He used part of it to cut me in the eye, and I stabbed him in the stomach with one of the splinters.”
Our correspondent learnt that the suspect’s younger brother, who was in the room, raised the alarm.
The victim was said to have been rushed to a private hospital in the area, where he died.
Edeh said she was arrested by policemen from the Ogombo division, adding that she learnt about Ebong’s death while in detention.
She said, “It was not my intention to kill him. But it was a case of two fighting; he was drunk that night and was misbehaving. He was also the first person to cut me in the eyebrow with glass before I retaliated.”
A resident in the house, who did not identify herself, however, said nobody knew what happened between her and the deceased until her younger brother raised the alarm around 12 midnight that the victim had been stabbed.
A police source toldPUNCH Metrothat the suspect stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife, and not a glass splinter as she claimed.
He said the victim’s entrails were exposed after the attack, adding that he died a day after the incident.
“The fight started after he returned from work and asked her to prepare noodles. She began to abuse him that he was irresponsible. She said she was the one housing and feeding him, while he did nothing. That made the man angry. He asked for the engagement ring he gave her, and she asked him to pick it from the table. And that started the fight.
“She picked a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the stomach, exposing his intestines. He died the next day,” he said.
Our correspondent learnt that the victim’s corpse had been deposited in a mortuary in the area.

Tinubu Doesn’t Want Fashola To Be Minister – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party says the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, does not want former Governor Babatunde Fashola to be appointed as a minister by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu had, in a statement last week, denied reports that he was the one sponsoring reports of Fashola’s excessive spending. He subsequently accused the PDP of sponsoring the reports of Fashola’s N78.3m website.
However, the PDP Publicity Secretary in Lagos State, Mr. Taofik Gani, said in a statement that Tinubu’s feud with Fashola was an open secret. He, therefore, urged Tinubu to be truthful to the people of the state.
He said Tinubu chose to deny being the one behind Fashola’s attacks because Fashola had threatened to expose his (Tinubu’s) alleged acts of corruption.
The statement partly read, “It is laughable that Tinubu can now blame the PDP for disseminating information which, no doubt, emanated from the office of the state governor and which was made public by the anti-Fashola elements within the APC.
“Indeed, bringing the PDP into this is to divert attention from the real issues of fraud in the state. Tinubu and the APC should rather face the accusations and not the accusers. We know well that Tinubu is behind the attacks. He lost cordiality with Fashola since the period of the APC governorship primary.
“Now he doesn’t want Fashola to have any federal appointment. The whole world knows this. He is now jittery and denying the attacks because of the rumoured plans by Fashola to release classified information of fraud during the administration of Tinubu. This is why Tinubu is now jittery and telling lies that we are behind the attacks.”
The PDP called for the immediate probe of Fashola and Tinubu. The party added that the revelations of Fashola’s spending could not end on the pages of newspapers but must be pursued to a logical conclusion.

Nigerians Will Soon See The Change I Promised – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that Nigerians will soon see the fulfilment of his election campaign promises.
He spoke on Wednesday in Abuja while receiving university students.
The president assured Nigerian youth that his government’s anti-corruption campaign would secure their future.
In an address to members of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) who marched to the presidential villa to pledge their full support for his anti-corruption campaign, President Buhari promised that he will do his best to place Nigeria well on the way to becoming the nation of their dreams.
“Everything you have asked for are the things that will make for a good country, and what we are after is a good country, a country where our youths can have a future and a hope,” the president said.
“We are totally committed to building a country where our youths can realize their full potential.
“You can be assured that your welfare and well-being are topmost in our minds and very soon you will see the things we have promised come to fruition.
“During the campaigns, change was our slogan, but today it is no longer a mere slogan, it is now a reality and we will see it in every facet of our lives.
“The youth will feel it, the adults will feel it and old people will feel it and we will get the country of our dreams,’’ the president, who was represented by his Special Adviser (Media & Publicity), Femi Adesina, said.
Mr. Adesina later received a document addressed to President Buhari from the NANS President, Tijani Usman Shehu, and promised that the president will look into their requests.
In his remarks, Mr. Shehu said the students were united against corruption, cybercrime, prostitution, human trafficking, drug abuse and other anti-social vices.
“Nigerian students demand that our future must be secured and we strongly believe in the President’s zero tolerance for corruption,’’ he said.

Amaechi fires back: Wike also corrupt, I won’t appear before his commission

Former Governor of Rivers State, Gov. Amaechi spoke, yesterday, in Port Harcourt, while addressing loyalists of the All Progressives Congress, APC that he was in the Rivers State capital to quietly attend a church program and will leave same day, adding that he had clear documents pointing at the alleged corruption acts of Governor Wike.
Amaechi vowed never to appear before the Justice George Omereji Commission of Inquiry investigating alleged sale of the assets of the state by his government, insisting that the establishment of the commission did not comply with constitutional provisions, that he will only appear before a properly constituted commission in the state.
He said:
“I have been listening while in Abuja to Nyesom Wike accusing me of corruption and I laugh. Even Nyesom Wike knows that I don’t like money, he knows that”.
“The pressure Wike is putting on us is to let somebody call us together to a meeting to withdraw our case challenging his election from court.. The party has a right to go to court. The law of Nigeria says there is no independent candidate. Even if I, Amaechi, Peterside withdraw, APC will carry on with the case.
“The funny thing about the young man is that he knows I know him. I was his governor, I have documents to show that he is a contractor. I am not a thief; so I don’t know what this young man is talking about.”
The former governor, who accused INEC, SSS, Army and militants of conniving to rob the APC of victory in the last gubernatorial election in the state, said he and his party will continue to fight until they get justice from the court.

Borno Governor Gives N100,000 Each To Parents Of Chibok Girls

Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State on Saturday presented N100,000 cash assistance and clothing materials to each of the parents of the 219 girls abducted at the Government Secondary School, Chibok.
He presented the items while interacting with the parents in Maiduguri, noting that the gesture was a directive from President Muhammadu Buhari.
“I met with the president last Thursday in Abuja and he directed that I should meet you and console you over the missing girls.
“The president urged me to extend his heart-felt greetings to you on the issue,’’ he said.
Shettima added that Buhari assured him that the missing girls would soon be rescued going by the renewed military offensive on the insurgents.
“The president assured me that the missing girls would soon be re-united with their families as efforts are being intensified to rescue them,’’ he said.
Shettima said that it was based on that grounds that he invited the parents for the interaction at the Government House, Maiduguri, to deliver the message.
He said that the abduction of the girls had affected the livelihood of the parents as some of them had not been able to engage in any economic activities since the incident occurred.
“The money is not a ransom or a kind of compensation for the missing girls; it is to provide a kind of relief to the parents, who have been devastated by the loss of their children,’’ he said.
He said that government would unfold a plan for rehabilitating the girls once they were rescued by the military.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Boko Haram insurgents abducted the girls on the night of April 14, 2014.(NAN)

Nobody Has A Right To Pocket Public Money – VP Osinbajo

Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN has declared that nobody has a right to pocket public money stating that corruption by its very nature is antithetical and inimical to the development of any nation.
Prof. Osinbajo noted that everyone needs to uphold the virtues of truth and justice if the country must make progress in the anti-corruption campaign emphasizing that people should not give the anti-corruption fight any ethnic coloration in order to escape punishment.
He explained that ‘’when there is a fight against corruption, it is not an ethnic fight; it is not an ethnic battle.
People can come up with all sorts of things and say it is selective. People say the reason why a man is being tried for corruption is because he is a Yoruba man, or he is from the North or from the South.
We should not encourage this kind of ideas.’’ The Vice President disclosed this on Thursday, 27th August 2015 evening when he received in his office the delegation of the Yoruba Traditional Council in the Northern States and Abuja led by the Chairman, His Royal Highness, Ambassador Mohammed Arigbabuwo. Prof. Osinbajo observed that there is no country in the world that has become great through corruption noting that as a matter of fact ‘’the history of the world shows that corruption has ruined many empires.’’
‘’When those empires attain greatness and they begin to allow corruption, then they collapse’’, the Vice President noted. Stating the commitment of President Muhammadu Buhari to the fight corruption, Prof. Osinbajo said ‘’ President Muhammadu Buhari has committed this current government to a pathway of integrity.
‘’For the first time, I think in a very long time, the President is saying that this country can only move forward if we show ourselves as men and women of integrity’’, he noted.
The Vice President therefore sought the support of the traditional rulers in the crusade against corruption emphasizing that Nigerian cultures abhor corruption.
While commending the representatives of the Yoruba communities from the Northern states for living peacefully with their hosts in their various communities, he implored them to imbibe the attributes of ‘‘Omoluabi’’ which he explains represents the positive virtues of forthrightness and integrity.
[Omoluabi means a forthright, loyal and respectful person] He declared that ‘’ I think you have demonstrated clearly by living in the north, living in Abuja and making your home and businesses here, that you believe in this country.
That shows you believe in the unity of this country and I think that is very commendable.’’ In his own address at the occasion, the Chairman of the Yoruba Traditional Council in the Northern States and Abuja, who led the delegation commended the vision and philosophy behind the Change Agenda of the Buhari administration.
While declaring the total support of his Council to the anti-corruption crusade, Ambassador Arigbabuwo acknowledged that the much desired change is already being felt.
‘’In the last three months, you will agree that many things have started taking positive shape for the people of this country such as constant electricity which has helped greatly to stabilize small scale and medium scale industries.’’

Beware!! Too Much s*x Can Make You Miserable (Must Read)

Sexual intercourse is no doubt one of the key obligations in marriage. It is a pleasurable act that both men and women enjoy.
Apart from the enjoyment, excitement and mind-blowing ecstasy that come with it, s*x has also been said to be of great benefits to the body, as earlier discussed on this page.
Some people, under the guise of the pleasure and benefits, have made it a daily affair; turning it to ‘food’ that must be taken every day and anytime opportunity presents itself.
But, despite the numerous benefits of s*x, especially in marriage, a study has shown that having too much of it could make people miserable. It does appear that the common saying that too much of everything is bad is also applicable to s*x, regardless of how exciting it could be.
The study explained that too much s*x could lead to a reduced sexual drive and pleasure derivable from it and that any attempt to continue with it could make such person(s) miserable.
The researchers from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States found that the connection between s*x and happiness is not as direct as it seems.
In the course of the study, reviewed by Mail Online, 128 married persons between the age of 35 and 65 were divided into two groups. The first group was instructed to have more s*x and double the number of times they have sexual intercourse weekly, while the second group received no instruction on how much s*x they should have. Thus, they were allowed to initiate it on their own.
While the observation lasted, the participants in the two groups were also questioned on their happiness levels, the frequency of their intercourse, their health behaviours and how much they enjoyed s*x.
At the end of the study, it was found that those who were told to double their sexual activity reported lower sexual drive and a reduction in their sexual enjoyment while those who were allowed to have it at their own will sustained their sexual drive and they enjoyed it better.
The researchers explained that having more s*x could lead to a decreased sexual drive and happiness, noting that s*x is more of quality than quantity. In other words, those who were under instruction kept doing it until they got tired of it and even lost the pleasure or enjoyment that comes with s*x.
“We found that having more s*x does not make couples happier, in part because increased frequency leads to a decline in the desire for and enjoyment of s*x. Being happy in the first place, for example, might lead someone to have more s*x, or being healthy might result in being both happier and having more s*x,” the researchers added.
The study’s lead author, George Loewenstein, noted that there could be a difference if the participants were encouraged to initiate more s*x on their own rather than instructing them to do it. She however pointed out that most couples seem not to be having enough s*x, but advised that doing it in a more creative way would certainly be beneficial.
Meanwhile, a research scientist, Tamar Krishnamurti, who also participated in the study, stated that the more people have s*x, the lesser their desire to have more and the lesser the enjoyment they derive.
‘Instead of focusing on increasing sexual frequency to the levels couples experienced at the beginning of the relationship, couples may want to work on creating an environment that sparks their desire and makes the s*x that they do have even more fun,” she added.
It is also worthy of note that couples would still derive same benefits from s*x regardless of the number of times they do it, save for men who have been advised to do more of it to reduce the likelihood of having prostate cancer because orgasms flushes out cancerous cells from the system.
In another development, some scientists at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, United States, found that men who do exercise last longer in bed than those who do not. Even though s*x is itself a form of exercise, the study notes that men who are fit and active have

I Prefer To Live My Life In Prison – Murder Suspect (Photo)

Cross Rivers State Police command has arrested a suspected serial killer, Cyril Ojang Etim, 25, who had been wanted by the police over series of unexplained deaths in the state.
He was picked by detectives attached to the state Criminal Investigation Department days after he allegedly beheaded one Ubong Asuquo who caught him stealing N4000 from his house at old Netim, Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State.
In the course of investigation, it was discovered that he was also responsible for the death of his ex-lover, Esther. He admitted to have killed her when he discovered that Esther, who was two months pregnant, had an abortion.
On his arrest, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Henry Fadairo told Saturday Sun that he had received several reports of the activities of Etim especially from relatives of victims that were either raped or murdered.
He explained that the manhunt was intensified when it was confirmed that the suspect beheaded his colleague, one Ubong Asuquo.
“When the news of his arrest broke, several persons came forward alleging that he either raped or stole from them.”Investigation also revealed that sometime in 2012, the suspect was caught trying to strangulate one of his victims.
Not aware that he had become a serial rapist and a killer, the community flogged and asked him to go home and sin no more. “Also in 2013, he confessed to have killed his lover because she had an abortion. He was arrested then and charged to court.
He was later released by a chief judge in 2014, when his name was submitted as those who appeared to have repented,” CP Fadairo said.
The police boss further said that unrepentant Etim continued in his former trade of robbery. “On February 27, 2015, he visited the house of the late Asuquo and stole his N4000. Unfortunately for him, Asuquo caught him red handed and chased him with a cutlass.
Both ended up in the bush and Etim over powered him, picked up the cutlass and beheaded Asuquo.
A passerby who witnessed the incident rushed to the nearest police station and reported the matter,” Fadairo added. At the police station, Etim told Saturday Sun that he believes that he was under a spell. “I do not know what could be wrong with me.
I normally recover my senses as soon as I have committed crime. It all started in 2010 after my 20th birthday. I discovered that my love for women increased.
I do not have money but I wanted to have s*x. If any woman tries to resist me, I will force her to have s*x with me. “I have been caught severally but because I have an innocent face, people will blame the women for seducing me.
Unfortunately,in 2013, my lover Esther told me that she was pregnant. I was already dreaming that I will become a father at a young age when she came back a week later and told me that she had an abortion. I was devastated and out of anger, beat her to death,” he said.
On realising his mistake, Etim handed himself over to the police. “I was arrested and charged to court.
Honestly, I had repented from my sins and gave my life to Christ. I was well behaved, that is why the prison authority submitted my name to the Chief Judge. She was the one who approved my release.
“When I was finally released in 2014, the devil took over my life again. I went back to the same crime. I was very broke and since I knew the late Asuquo, I decided to sneak into his house and get some money. The first time I stole N3000 and was not caught.
I went back three days later and was about to collect the N4000 that I saw in one of his drawers when he saw me. He shouted and picked his cutlass. I ran as fast as I could but he came after me.
I knew that he would kill me, that was why I fought back. I had no choice but to kill him. I never knew that someone saw us. “I am willing to go to prison because it appears that I am stable inside there.
I know that I have committed a lot of atrocities but I am begging the families of my victims to forgive me because I want to make heaven”, Etim pleaded.

A 50-year-old trader, Muinatu Aliu, has told an Ikorodu customary court in Lagos State that she denied her husband s*x because she usually felt pains anytime he made love to her .
The mother of four, disclosed this while testifying in a divorce petition instituted by her husband, Awopeju Aliu, 58.
Muinatu, however, pleaded with the court to save her 25-year-old marriage. “I usually have a painful sexual experience whenever I am having an intercourse with my husband.
“And when I related my experience to a woman in my neighbourhood, she said my husband could be using s*x enhancing drugs; so I was always denying him s*x.
“I usually feel so sick after s*x, but I am ready to seek medical attentions so as to save my marriage from collapse. “I promise to make love to him anytime he wishes,’’ she said.
However, the husband urged the court to dissolve the marriage despite his wife’s pleas, while also praying the court to award him custody of their children.
“I am hypertensive and the doctor told me that I should always make love to my wife to reduce the high blood pressure; but my wife was always denying me s*x.
“I don’t want her anymore. I want to marry another wife,’’ Awopeju said.
President of the court, Mr Olu Adebiyi, adjourned the case till September 10 for possible reconciliation.
Adebiyi ruled that the couple should remain in peace till the next adjourned date.
